vFlash: Virgin Mobile’s New USB Modem Device

VirginMobile Virgin Mobile has something new which I don’t think not many people have heard of, simply because it has not been promoted. It is a new Hi-speed USB modem device, vFlash. Unlike the previous USB device vLink which had low speed and only 1 GB of storage, vFlash offers high internet speeds of up to 3.1 Mbps and a storage capacity of 8GB.

It comes a warm and attractive red colour. This device not only offers high speed net but also on-demand download services. These services include a wide range of movies, music, videos, wallpapers and ringtones at very tempting prices. There is another interesting service i.e. vFlash TV. Here you are allowed to watch 40 different channels which include all common and popular news, serials & sports channels. You can even record the program if you miss it.

According to the Mr. M.A. Madhusudan, Chief Executive Officer, Virgin Mobile, India,

With the rise of internet penetration in India, the data segment furnishes a stupendous opportunity allowing the customers to always stay connected.”

Where as, Mr. Deval Parikh, Chief Officer, Handset, VAS & Procurement, Virgin Mobile, India said,

“We are glad to introduce yet another cost effective value proposition for our customers. At Virgin Mobile India, we have been constantly striving to provide convenient and easy-to-use services for our subscribers. As an introductory promo, we are offering the device at a hard-to-resist 30-day zero rental. In addition, we are also offering vFlash TV & access to unlimited legal downloads on our On Demand service at zero rental till Jan and March-ends respectively. The launch of this product is an example of our commitment to provide simplicity and control in the hands of our customers as it offers various exciting features such as live TV and on demand services.”

This USB devise has been prices at Rs. 3499. As this product is new, it is being launched with affordable tariffs ranging from Rs. 250-1100 per month., and for the first 30 days i.e. till January 31, 2010 the rental and on demand services are absolutely free.

    DO NOT BUY Virgin Mobile’s vFLASH DATACARD even if they offer it to you for free.

    If you want this datacard (Modem device) I will give it to you for free.

    I was victim of their trap. And this modem is laying useless since then. I would like to give it to anyone for free if they want. But I can’t tolrate their bad service.
