It has been a couple of months since I have joined Twitter. It is a very very powerful tool for promoting businesses. With the increasing popularity of Twitter, I saw that there are many other websites which can link with your twitter profile. These websites are like addons for Twitter. There are many popular sites like Twitpic.com, but here I am going to tell you about some very cool and interesting ones which you will definitely like to try.
1. First Follower :
Have you ever thought, where it all started? You might have hundreds and thousands of followers but you should never forget your “First Follower”. This website gives you the ease of knowing, about your first follower. All you need to do is go to this website and just enter your Twittter username and hit “enter” and i bet, that you will be surprised when you find out who he/she is.
2. Bettween :
Next on my list is bettween.com. You might have had various chat records or organised message records between you and any one of your friends. This website gives you a record of all the conversations between any two users. It can be you and any of your friend on Twitter. Not only it gives you a record but also shows the chain of tweets which were replied to each other in a well organised way. All you need to do is enter your Twitter id and that of your friend’s and click on the “GO” button. In a moment you will get the record of all the tweets between the two ids.
3. Tweet Level :
This one is a simple website which gives you the score of your activeness on Twitter out of 100. Tweet Level ranks you on 4 basis i.e. Influence, Popularity, Engagement & Trust. Just check out your twitter level and compare it with that of your friends. It will be fun.
4. Twitrand :
This is my favourite one and it will be yours to if like GIVINGAWAY prizes in exchange of tweets. For all the bloggers out their this is a very useful tool. When announcing Giveaway contests a blogger cannot be always dependent on sites like Random.org, he/she always needs new ideas, so here is one. This website gives you the ease of selecting a winner among thousands of followers. It asks for a phrase or a URL(the one you asked people to tweet) and searches the whole of Twitter for that phrase/URL and among the successful searches it randomly picks a winner and displays the Twitter id of that person. It is an absolutely simple and easy way for choosing the winner for Giveaway Contests.
5. Tweet Call :
If you you are at a place where internet is not available and you find a very interesting thing and want to immediately share it with your followers all you have to do is just make a call on 1-877-TweetCall. You need to go to the website and sign in their. No, need to sign up as you have already done that on Twitter.com/signup. Enter your phone number and a pin, the tweets can only be made by the phone number you have specified. This service is absolutely free but currently it is for U.S. mobile phone numbers only. But soon we can do the same as TweetCall is planning to expand overseas.
6. Ad.ly Analytics :
This is for those people who really want to know all about their Twitter stats. It is simply based on the idea of Google Analytics. Google Analytics analysis your website and gives you it’s stats, in the same way Ad.ly Analytics analyses your twitter account from the oldest tweet to the latest one and presents the stats in a synchronised form. It has two option, one which is free and gives you the basic stats like engaged followers, male/female followers, most influential followers etc. and the other one is paid where it provides you further deep analysis report of your Twitter account.
Have you tried the above mentioned sites? If yes you might have notices that you can play a little with the first four sites. The first 4 sites i.e. do not need a password for any id. But in the first 3 the thing you can play with is other people’s Twitter profile. Just enter any username and check its first follower or check its score on Twitter Level. You can even enter any two Twitter username and know all about the conversation between them, and that to irrespective of the fact that you are following them or not. Check them out and tell us what you did with these sites and also if you find something new or interesting then let us also know by commenting below.

Anurag, nice write- up on TweetCall. As CEO of Quicktate, I wanted to clarify one of your comments. You can call TweetCall from any phone, including satellite phones or even over skype. The system allows you to manually enter one of the phone numbers you added to the TweetCall site, even if you are not calling from that phone.
Mr. Lee Dorfman, thanks for commenting. I was glad that you provided us, such a valuable information because I did not know about it. It was good to see your comment, please keep interacting in the same manner
