Google has just launched its newest social media tool, Google Buzz. Google is trying to make Gmail a more social place and in this aspect Google Buzz is definitely buzzing the whole world. These days sharing of interesting things has become very common on the internet. There are many options available to share things on WWW. Google Buzz is the newest way of sharing updates(even commenting on them), photos, videos and even more.
This feature will be available on your Gmail page. When you visit your Gmail you will a new tab below the inbox. Just click on it and start buzzing. You will notice that you don’t need to setup anything. You are already following all the people whom you email and chat with the most and they will in turn be following you automatically.
In Google Buzz either you can share anything with the whole world or you can limit the share with only some friends. Here you can not only share status messages but also pictures and videos. If you enter a link for sharing, it will automatically show all the pictures from the link and will help you choose what all you want to share.
As I told you you can share even videos and if anyone has shared it with you then playing video online is very easy even for a kid and to add more in that you can directly comment, rate, share and like that video directly from Buzz. You don’t need to go anywhere else.
Viewing photos has become a very easy task again. You will have the same experience while browsing through photos like you have in Picasa.
Google Buzz has made sharing very easy. You can share videos, photos and updates to as many friends as you want. For this you can make use of the ‘@’ replies(mentions). Along with sharing you can even reply to any update by jus adding ‘@’ before the email address.
But if you share it in public then it will be recommended to many people around the world. You will also get many recommendations by the people around the world. The recommendations are based on your interest and your friends’ common interests. You normally get recommendations by people which you are not directly connected with. You also have an option to ignore it .There is also an option to connect with various other services like Twitter, Flickr, Picasa and Google Reader.
When people share things with you, a message will also come in your inbox. You can even share or comment on it directly from your inbox. This will will help you in responding to your friends regularly as you won’t miss any of their updates.
According to Google they are giving complete support for your phone too but as they have not given full functionality to all the accounts, you will experience many difficulties while using the Google Buzz App. in your smart phone. On phone you can keep an eye on your friends and with the integration of Google Maps you can even get updates of the people near you.
Google Buzz is working fine with all the functionalities on the computer but on smart phones(excluding Nexus One) it is still looking like just another web app. This functionality will be introduced to all the accounts in a small period of time. If you do not have it you can even try activating it yourself by going to buzz.google.com.
